Smart Supplier

Increasingly, customers expect their suppliers to be able to trade electronically; customers need to lower their cost of doing business.

This desire by customers to trade electronically with their suppliers has proved very costly for the suppliers as they are expected to be able to integrate their system to a wide variety of different customers' systems: an exorbitant expense for suppliers. It is the very expensive costs associated with integrating a supplier's system with many different customers' systems that has inhibited the uptake of e-commerce and specifically electronic supply chain enablement.

Smart Supplier solves this problem. It makes electronic trading between suppliers and their many customers affordable for even the smallest supplier.

Smart Supplier has been certified by VeriTest for Microsoft Windows 2000.

Smart Supplier (Smart Supplier and SeComm are subject to Australian Provisional Patent Application PR7947 applied for on September 27 2001, International Patent Application Rights Reserved) has been designed to overcome the problems traditionally associated with supplier enablement; it can be used to trade with any customer regardless of the ERP, e-procurement solution or e-marketplace the customer is using to place their orders; it is a MS-Windows desktop application that can be interfaced with the supplier's accounting, order entry or ERP system; it is installed on the supplier's computer system/desktop to facilitate electronic trading with customers.

Smart Supplier is available in two editions.

Smart Supplier Professional edition is available on the payment of a once-only Connection Fee and an ongoing Monthly Subscription Fee and Transaction Fees. The Professional edition does not include Smart Buyer.

Smart Supplier Enterprise edition is licensed to suppliers upon payment of a once-off Licence Fee and an Annual Maintenance and Support Fee. Smart Supplier Enterprise includes a 50 User Licence to distribute Smart Buyer, a sell-side application that allows a supplier to distribute an integrated electronic catalogue and ordering solution to any customers who do not have an ERP or e-procurement system.

Using Smart Supplier, suppliers can easily:
